Laundry and Study: Not a Common Functioning Combination!

A little terrace house inner city, had the unusual combination of laundry trough and machine in the same room as the desk, computer, music equipment and such paraphernalia. The home's one bathroom was elsewhere and spread out in a comparatively large room with beautiful sunshine streaming in.

To make matters more complicated, the project room was a very odd shape with the toilet accessed at the end of it. The floor and ceiling were both lower than remainder of home and neither toilet or laundry room windows opened.
 
This work was very capably undertaken by Louis Xuereb of SOLID CREATIONS. The finished room is accurately executed and includes bath, separate shower, vanity, mirrored wall cabinet, laundry trough, benching, under bench machine even a small linen cupboard.
There would be countless homes across Melbourne that have ample space but not the functionality that this little room delivers.
