Three drawer pantry to gourmet

Here we had three pokey rooms pretending to be living and dining areas with a generous kitchen. The kitchen had plenty of benching, all the appropriate appliances and lovely bright three way outlook. However it essentially had three drawers to call the pantry. An avid chef with growing family to enjoy the spoils, she was struggling.

​A wall was gone to make one large relaxing sitting room, dining was taken care of in the beautifully appointed area and the “bones” of the kitchen retained. Additional drawers, new door drawer fronts, appliances across corners to avoid dead cupboards and assist the functional flow. To balance the living room/kitchen dividing wall we extended the kitchen cabinets and created display space in the dining for glasses, table ware and drinks accouterments. The favourite addition was two wide pantries complete with drawers so there is now half a supermarket's stock for inspiration and fabulous, delicious creations on the menu being enjoyed by all constantly
